The FALL season is upon us, and that means drinking cozy beverages snuggled under a blanket! Since one of the best things about fall is arguably pumpkin spice coffee creamer, I’m going to show you how to make it yourself at home, and the best part is that it’s clean and easy!
When I began the quest to clean up our family’s diet a bit, one of the first things I tackled was learning to make my own coffee creamer. I love my coffee…and I LOVE my creamer! What sort of barbarian drinks it black??? Kidding…sort of-all in good fun! When I began to check out the labels for my favorite creamers, I was dismayed to find an array of garbage, bioengineered ingredients!
I set to work finding different recipes! My original goal was to just nail a creamer that tasted good and was made with clean, whole ingredients. At first, I used maple syrup to sweeten it, which was delicious, but also a lot of sugar! Next, I began to search for a way to make it with little to no sugar. I have finally figured it out, and in this post, I’ll be sharing with you the pumpkin spice version!
Ingredients for Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
- 1/2 Cup Organic Canned Pumpkin
- 1 Cup Organic Heavy Cream
- 1 1/2 Cups Organic Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 2 tsp Organic Pure Vanilla
- 1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp Organic Pyure Stevia Sweetener
- 1/4 tsp Organic Cinnamon
Helpful Tools to Make Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
Below are some tools that are not all necessary but would be helpful to you to quickly make this creamer.
- Wide-mouth quart Mason jar
- Milk Frother
- Small Spatula
- Glass Jar with Lid
Instructions for Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
- First, add pumpkin, Pyure Stevia, vanilla, and heavy cream to the bottom of the wide-mouth quart Mason jar.
- Next, use small spatula to stir until combined.
- Fill the remainder of the quart jar with the almond milk and add cinnamon
- Lastly, use milk frother to really make sure all those ingredients are combined
- Store in a glass jar with a lid for 1-2 weeks (if you don’t consume it all before then!)
Additional Notes
- You will want to give the jar of creamer a quick shake each time you use it so that it stays well-mixed.
- Since we have used real pumpkin puree, and our creamer doesn’t contain a ton of nasty chemicals, it is typical for there to be some pumpkin puree settle to the bottom of your cup. Just be aware of this.
Enjoy!
I hope that whether you’ve lit your favorite autumn candle, put on your comfiest sweater, and snuggled up with a good book, or you are on your way to work on a crisp fall morning, that you will have a little something extra to enjoy with the addition of this pumpkin spice creamer to your coffee! You can rest easy knowing that your coffee is both delicious and clean! It really is the little things in life that make it so sweet!
